Artist: Zhao Boju (1120–1182) Zhao Boju was a Chinese painter during the early Southern Song Dynasty born in the Hebei Provence. His paintings of landscapes, figures, flowers, fruit, and birds apparently ranged in size and format from large screens to handscrolls, album leaves, and fans. He was famous for his work in the blue-green landscape mode. The critic Zhao Xigu considered Zhao Boju the best of all Southern Song painters.
